Vera Webber was the winner of the 2009 Closing the Gap Award. We were very grateful for Vera presenting her experiences in growing up in an Aboriginal Community. Her efforts in reconciling Aboriginal and Western Cultures provided an insightful and entertaining talk in front of 80 guests.
