Ass. Professor Margarita Frederico spoke on “Human Rights and the abuses of the world’s children.” She focused on Australia and referred to overseas examples. In Australia she had worked with Federal and State Governments and also with a Monash University team on improving management of child abuse allegations in the Family Court of Australia. She is the author of “You Listen”, the Community and Family Services Report documenting the experiences of children and families displaced due to armed conflict in Mindanao, Phillippines.
